Dr. Shahana Urooj Kazmi, Pakistan.
Shahana Urooj Kazmi got her Ph. D. from the University of Maryland, USA in Microbiology and Immunology where she developed a Mouse Model for Campylobacter Enteritis. She then continued Post-Doctoral Fellowship at the University of Tennessee, School of Medicine-Memphis, USA. Ex. Dean Faculty of Sciences and Professor of Clinical Microbiology and Immunology at Dadabhoy Institute of Higher Education. Dr. Shahana is the Vice-Chancellor of Women University Swabi, Pakistan, and the President of Pakistan Society of Microbiology (PSM). She has been working on antimicrobial and Immunomodulatory Agents, diagnostic methods for potential human, plant, and animal pathogens, molecular immunology and infectious diseases, food safety, and environmental microbiology. She has obtained certified training in molecular biology, biological, chemical safety and biosecurity, risk assessment from several international institutes namely the National Institute of Immunology, New Delhi-India, American Biological Safety Association-USA, International Centre for Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology-Trieste, Italy, etc. She is also an active member of the American Society of Microbiology. And also served as an expert referee in the Journal of College of Physicians and Surgeons (JCPSP), Journal of Pakistan Medical Association (JPMA), and Journal of Pharmacology and Pharmaceutical Sciences.
Dr. Erum Zahir, Pakistan.
Dr. Erum Zahir completed Ph.D. in Chemistry from the University of Karachi followed by Post Doc Research in Neuroscience from Panjwani Center for Molecular Medicine and Drug Research, International Center for Chemical and Biological Science, University of Karachi. She is a Professor at the Department of Chemistry, University of Karachi. Her research work focuses on Physicochemical properties of oil extracts and their Kinetics and Thermodynamics study, Neurochemistry, Electro-Instrumental techniques; Analytical Chemistry; Environmental pollution monitoring and assessment; Metals in environment and Biology; Multimedia application in Chemistry Teaching; Environmental Hydrochemistry; Persistent Organic Pollutants (POPs). She is a member of the Chemical Society of Pakistan, Systemic Approach to Teaching and Learning Chemistry Club (PS-SATLC) & Chemistry Alumni Welfare Association-Karachi University (CAWA-KU).
Dr. Farhan Essa Abdullah, Pakistan.
Farhan Essa is an M.B.B.S Doctor from Dow Medical College, Karachi followed by Ph.D. from the University of Karachi. He is the CEO of Dr. Essa Laboratory and Diagnostic Centers (one of the largest Medical Diagnostic Chains in Sindh). Convener Central Standing Committee of Hospital, Clinics, and Laboratories of FPCCI (Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industries of Pakistan). He is also the Patron of the Pakistan Society for Microbiology. Dr. Farhan is also an active member advisory board of various organizations like the National Polio Plus Committee, Bio-safety Association of Pakistan & Entrepreneurial Management and Excellence Centre at IoBM. He has been awarded the Top 100 CEO of Pakistan Excellence Award & National Excellence Award for Corporate Social Responsibility.
Dr. Humaira Gul, Pakistan.
Humera Gul has obtained her Ph. D. degree in Plants physiology from the Department of Botany, University of Karachi, where she studied Salt tolerance in canola with special reference to its reproductive physiology. She has also been involved in the research work regarding Biosaline Agriculture. She is an Assistant professor at the Botany Department, Abdul Wali Khan University Mardan, and an active member of the Pakistan Botanical Society.
Dr. Muhammad Ali Sheraz, Pakistan.
Muhammad Ali Sheraz has obtained his Ph. D. degree in Pharmaceutics from the Baqai Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences. Followed by Postdoctoral Research Fellowship at The Kroto Research Institute, University Department in Sheffield, England. He is an Associate Professor and Chairman at the Department of Pharmacy Practice at Baqai Medical University, Pakistan. He is also the Chief Editor of the Baqai Journal of Health Sciences. His research interests focus on drug formulation, photochemistry, and pharmaceutical technologies. Sheeraz is also an active member of the American Chemical Society and the Council of Asian Science Editors (CASE). He has been involved in the Editorial and review process of various journals like Drug Design, Development, and Therapy, Water Air and Soil Pollution, The Journal of Physical Chemistry, RSC Advances, etc. as a referee.
