Huma Bugti, Pakistan.
Huma Bugti completed M.Sc. in Physiology from the University of Karachi. Her dissertation focused on the Physiological and Psychological response of professional runners to strenuous exercise. Recently, she had presented her research work in a conference by the South Asian Association of Physiologist (SAAP) and has won the best poster presentation award as well. Also, she had presented her awareness program regarding Menstrual Hygiene in the village Bugtiabad of Nawabshah in the 5th International Conference on Women Empowerment by AEIRC. She has vast teaching experience of the past 10 years at the Secondary Education Level and also worked as the Vice-Principal in Army Public School, Azad Kashmir.
Mariyam Farhad, Pakistan
Maryam Farhad completed Masters in Special Education from Federal Urdu University of Arts Science and Technology (FUUAST). Currently working as Social Development Manager at Markaz-e-Umeed school for special needs children. Launched and running two campaigns ‘’Yes Women Can’’ and ‘’Educate a Girl’’ followed by SDGs, specifically Gender Equality, Quality Education along with other SDGs. She represented Pakistan and my humanitarian work at the 15th Annual Human Rights Summit 2018. Maryam also participated in SDG Action Zone Events 2019 at rose garden UN Headquarters and was the finalist for Atlas Corps Fellowship USA.
