Dr. Fakhera Feroz (Faah) MBBS, LRCP LRCS LMSSA, MSc, DFFP, MRCOG, Ph.D., has been trained as a Clinical Academician in Obstetrics & Gynaecology and Reproductive Medicine. Faah is a medical graduate from St Georges Hospital Medical School, University of London and obtained her clinical training from the tertiary university hospitals such as St Georges Hospital, London, Royal London Hospital, Royal Free Hospital, London, Imperial College, London and University College London. She has obtained her academic training at internationally renowned universities such as Manchester University, University of Warwick, University of Cambridge, Imperial College London and University College London. Based on her Ph.D. work she was awarded a Clinician Scientist Fellowship by Tubingen University, Germany. She has developed an Obstetric Simulator System (OSS) to establish and maintain preparedness for obstetric emergencies, and therefore improve obstetric outcomes worldwide. Dr. Faah is a Creative Director in the development of Animations in Medical Teaching as Pedagogical Tools. She is a founder of SAMEO (South Asia & Middle East Organisation), An Academic Health Science Centre for Reproductive, Maternal & Child Health (RMCH) based in London to improve maternal and child health at the global level and working very closely with World Health Organisation (WHO) as a constituency member of PMNCH (Partnership for Maternal, Newborn and Child Health) and UNO, Geneva Switzerland.
