Sadaf Ahmed has completed her Ph.D. research on Physiological and Biochemical Studies on Patients of Ischemic and Diabetic Neuropathies Subjected to Transcutaneous Electrical Nerve Stimulation (TENS) Therapy from University of Karachi, Pakistan. She continued with Clinical Research Certified Professional Program (CRCP) at Dow University of Health Sciences (DUHS). Currently an Assistant Professor at the Department of Physiology, University of Karachi, Pakistan. She is the author of Pakistan’s first book on psychophysiology and the founder of Pakistan’s First Stress evaluation tool – Sadaf Stress Scale (SSS). She is a dedicated researcher and academician with a special interest in neuroscience, psychological assessment, stress evaluation and management and patterns of behavioral and psychophysiological modifications during stress. She is also an active member of World Women in Neuroscience, USA, the Science Bridge and World Association of Medical Editors. Recipient of various national and international research grants from International Brain Research Organization (IBRO) and Ministry of youth affairs, Govt. of Sindh, Pakistan.
